For this project, we were also tasked with again creating a vector image in Adobe Illustrator. I did again choose to tackle the hand drawn vector style. My project was on climate change, so I decided to include an image of a burning Earth, that would take the center stage, then surrounded by a barrage of facts. In order to get an image that I could trace over to create a picture of a burning Earth, I had to create my own because I had a specific vision for it. I also didn't know how to paste two images together in Illustrator so I turned my sights to Photoshop. I pulled an image of the Earth and an image of a raging fire from Unsplash and erased the backgrounds so that I was able to paste them together to create a png, which I then added to my Adobe Illustrator file. It was then that I traced over the image, using specifically the pen tool, and deleted it. Originally the facts were going to be more organized and lined up along the sides of the Earth, but then I decided that maybe it would be more powerful if it was disorganized and if the main focus points were larger than the original dialogue. It is then that it becomes a representation of the chaos that might be unless we make something of it and do something about the main focus points.
