This is a picture of me playing the guitar. I had a picture in mind of someone in an isolated room with a hood on, bent over seated, and playing the guitar through an unplugged amp. Taking the picture facing my bed would make the image way more cluttered than it needs to be, so I focused my attention to the other side of the room. My amp is plugged into the wall near my bed, so I unplugged it, and moved it to the front of the door. On the other side of the room, there usually is a chair next to a stool as well so the choice then was if I wanted to sit in the chair or the stool. I chose the stool and moved the chair behind the camera.
For this shot, I didn't need to do my hair because I would be wearing my hood anyways, so I put on my hood after strapping my guitar around my arm. I then plugged the guitar into my amp and set my phone in a position in which it would be able to take a good shot of me. I then turned off my room light and set my phone on the countdown photo setting with the flash on an quickly took a seat on the stool. In post, I added some smudge that I smudged upwards to make it seem like I am making an intense downward movement while playing the guitar. I then added smudge around me in a circle and blurred it so that there would be more of a focus on me in the middle.
I will admit that I didn't remember that I needed a proof sheet and deleted those photos on my phone out of impulse and out of the fact that my phone does have major limited storage issues. However, other photos included setting my amp on top of my cat food box in my room so that the whole of my amp was more visible. Others didn't even include my head, and during a couple others, my phone fell over and I didn't even know because I had my ceiling light off.
